WHAT TO EXPECT
Much like other similar societies, regular meetings with an informal atmosphere give pipers another stage outside of the competition platform.
The first hour encourages players of smallpipes, borderpipes, Uilleann Pipes, and other folk instruments to gather around for a tune or two in a session style.
The second hour encourages players of the Great Highland Bagpipe to have a tune or two.
The evening ends with the playing of a Piobaireachd (pronounced Pi-broch) giving the non-pipers and enthusiasts in attendance an opportunity to encounter our “Big Music.”
